Always by your side.

It’s starts with location.

Our Railton farm is the ideal location for breeding our Labradors with plenty of fenced property and open space for the puppies to safely roam and play.

The atmosphere is peaceful and the environment is perfect for growing a happy healthy litter without overcrowding or excessive noise. Thanks to an abundance of nature, our labs can explore and socialise while being raised in a supportive, stimulating environment. Our labs are also raised and brought up around children, chooks and horses to name a few.

Our story

At the heart of our business is a deep love for all animals. After living and working with pets for many years, we decided to use our passion and experience to breed some of the best labradors you’ll find.

My mother bred and showed Labradors since I was a child. I remember growing up spending many Saturdays at dog shows, seeing all breeds side by side. For me, it wasn’t till my 12th birthday when we had a litter of only one black labrador, I fell in love! I remember paying my mother $250 that I had saved up to take ownership of Nara, with which we spent 16 years together - life was good. Ever since then I was hooked on Labradors and wanted to give that same opportunity I had as a child, to others.

We have now grown a small business based in Tasmania and it is rooted in traditional values and a caring atmosphere. We are committed to producing and nurturing the best Labs for family homes. We want to ensure that each pup goes to a loving, responsible home, which is why we provide prospective owners with detailed information and training tips - from the best diets for Labs to their exercise needs. As part of our commitment to our animals, the parents of the pups have had a complete DNA profile to help potential owners safeguard their pup’s physical and emotional well-being.

We aim to build a loyal community of owners and staff dedicated to providing our furry friends with a loving home. Our family-run business is highly respected in the local, interstate, and now international pet community and we look forward to sharing our love and knowledge with our customers and their new pups.

Our Heritage. Jasper.

Jasper was an amazing Labrador who had a strong genetic line that runs through all of our breeding labs today. He was an incredibly gentle and loving hearted Lab with a wild spirit and an unwavering loyalty towards his family. He was always eager to go on walks and enjoy nature. We will never forget the joy and love that Jasper brought to us all, and that his spirit lives on through the genetics of all of our breeding labs.

Rest in Peace.

 FAQs

  • Our Puppies are $3500 and are sold on the Limited Register. This means they come with pedigree MDBA papers, and are on the Canine Council, therefore the must be desexed.

  • Your new pup has been well prepared to take home. They have been regularly wormed from birth and the have had their first Vet visit to be checked over and given their first vaccination (further vaccinations will be needed).
They have been well socialised and also come with a Comprehensive Puppy Pack and 6 Weeks Puppy Insurance from Pet Cover

  • Our labradors have only been fed a raw diet, and we strongly recommend that you continue feeding them this diet to maintain their optimal health and wellbeing. Raw diets are proven to provide dogs with all the quality nutrition that they need, as well as promote healthy skin and coat, proper digestion, and overall good health. Additionally, a raw diet eliminates the need to worry about adding any artificial ingredients or preservatives that could be damaging to your labradors’ health.

  • At 6 weeks they will receive a vaccination which is for
canine distemper virus, canine hepatitis and canine parvovirus. These are combined into one injection called C3.

A booster is then required at 10 weeks and another at 14 weeks.

Early canine and human socialisation is essential for preventing behavioural issues and ensuring that your puppy develops into a sociable adult. Before exposing your puppy to the larger environment, you must make sure they are completely disease-free.

Avoid dog parks and socialising with other dogs during the puppy vaccination stage, especially if you don't know their immunisation status. Mixing with other puppies, as in puppy school, is acceptable as long as everyone is up to date on their vaccinations.

  • Puppies are ready to take home at 8 weeks. However, before a Jaschic Labrador is purchased and taken home to your family, you will have to provide us with information on what type of home you can provide.

  • You can never guarantee the long-term health attributes of an animal, but at Jaschic we only breed from dogs that have had all relevant health checks, have good hip and elbow scores, and are clear of EIC and PRA (common issues in labradors).

  • To any of our past labs we offer boarding, should you ever need a sitter. Everything is included for $30 per night.
